In Burkittsville, from the intersection of Highway 17 and Gapland Road, turn on Gapland Road and go north/northwest for about 1.25 mile. The cemetery is on east side of the road next to an abandoned church.
A poorly kept small church cemetery. The grass is about two feet high in there. There are about 3 overturned headstones and 10-12 fieldstones. The first burials occured in the 1870's. In the past ten years, they have occasionally used the cemetery for interment.
I walked through this cemetery on Aug 14 2003.
